My 9 year old daughter pinched the crap out of me this morning, before I could get out of bed. Seems I didn't have any green on.
She had set Leprechaun traps throughout the house last night, in hopes of a ransom of gold...and was not to happy they were empty this morn..
Head to toe she was dressed in green, stick on tattoos of clovers and rainbows adorned her cheeks ( she is sooo cute ). Her lunch had to include something green ( kiwi yogurt , yuck ) and tonight we dine on cabbage and corned beef.
Biggest delimma of the day so far,the answer to her question, Who the heck was St. Pat, and what did he do to deserve a holiday?
I've heard the stories of a pied piper, but little more, anyone out there know what I can tell a 9 yr old ( I have til 3 pm to get a
age appropriate answer )
Personally, I think the day has been hijacked by Bars and Beer distributors, but I can't exactly tell her that....................
