Target Marketing for souls and salvation

I wonder.......

Could it be conceivable that there is a germ of truth(?)in every religion?

Could it be that the root cause of religious disagreement is based more on power and control, than the name of the diety worshipped?

You could quite easily equate the difference between a Muslim and Baptist with the differences between a Rolls Royce and a Yugo.

They're all generally the same product, providing the same basic service, they differ only in marketing and packaging.

Price and quality may play into the equation, yet their basic purpose is the same......for I'm sure you can get to heaven just as easy in a Yugo as a Rolls...........

The Catholic Church recently adopted a similar approach; God, in whatever name, or manner worshipped, is the same God, no one is "wrong" in their choice of religion, just different.( woulda been real nice for the Pope to have this opinion before the crusades, but that's back when the Church was in the governing business, power and control corupts everything)

Just a little food for thought on the road of life...............

Religion seems to be too geographically specific for that not to be the case in my opinion. Why would God deem someone born in India, 80% Hindu and only 2.4% Christian, as unworthy and someone born in the US, 78% Christian, as worthy?

Is it possible that it is only important that we were influenced as a whole by Jesus and not crucial that we are of christian faith? I'm pretty sure I know the christian answer

Just my little snack for the journey
